Kew Organic Explorer Strength gin.

Kew Organic gin is a Unique Collaboration between Dodd’s gin and the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew. In 1759, a small botanic garden was founded by Princess Augusta on the banks of the river Thames. Today, the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew covers 320 acres and is home to the largest collection of useful, rare and treasured plants in the world.

The London Distillery Company is a distillery based in a former Victorian dairy cold room in Battersea. They distil their gin in Christina, a traditional 140-litre copper still. An unusual process, which then sees the three individual distillations married together and rested for up to four weeks to create Kew Organic Gin. 85,9% of the overall botanical bill are 2 types of juniper (Bulgarian & Tuscan). They use 5 types of citrus – lemon, lime, pink grapefruit, orange & bergamot peel. From the Kew gardens they use, Santo Lina, rosemary, lavender flower as well as traditional gin botanicals. For our personal perfect served G&T, I use an Erasmusbond Botanical tonic, garnished with a little lime wedge and a small bay laurel leaf. I can honestly say that I was blown away by this gin and that I immediately fell in love with it! For me, it’s one of the best gins that I ever had! For more than a year, there was only one gin that we deemed worth a 96/100 score, but that has changed now! Our personal score for this super high quality gin is nothing less than a ... 96/100 score!!!! Indeed, I can already tell you that there is yet another 96/100 score coming!!! Stay tuned for more!!!
